Real Estate Group Seals Development Deal for NY Retail Space

Real Estate partner W. Christian Drewes represented Amazing Toys de Mexico in negotiating a long-term anchor lease and $45 million construction agreement with The Pyramid Companies to open a 100,000 square foot education and family entertainment facility at the Palisades Center, a major retail and entertainment center in the New York City metropolitan area.

The facility, to be known as ​“Kidzania,” will be the first of its kind in the United States following successful pilot facilities in Mexico and Spain. Kidzania is planning to open several locations at metropolitan venues including Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Atlanta, Washington, D.C., Boston, Minneapolis, Detroit, Dallas, Philadelphia and Houston.
