Kelley Drye Represents Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in Government Hearing

Kelley Drye represented the Chief Financial Officer of Dey, L.P., a specialty pharmaceutical manufacturer of respiratory drugs, at a hearing in Washington, D.C. before the Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigation of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

The hearing, Medicaid Prescription Drug Reimbursement: Why The Government Pays Too Much,” addressed the structural flaws in Medicaid’s current drug reimbursement system. It was the culmination of an 18-month investigation by the Subcommittee, which focused on various segments of the pharmaceutical industry including drug manufacturers, wholesalers, large retail chain pharmacies and state Medicaid agencies.
