TMCnet Reports Partner Henry T. Kelley is Best Lawyers ​“Lawyer of the Year” in Chicago Communications Law

TMCnet Legal published a feature article on the selection of Chicago office managing partner Henry T. Kelly as Best Lawyers’ 2013 Chicago Communications Law ​“Lawyer of the Year.”

The article stated the award is conferred upon a lawyer through a peer-review process of clients and legal professionals. For each practice and designated metropolitan area, only one lawyer is honored as the ​“Lawyer of the Year.”

TMCnet stated Mr. Kelly for more than 25 years has advocated for companies in telecommunications-related matters involving commercial transactions, municipal regulations, class action defense, state and federal pre-emption issues, intellectual property and actions enforcing state and telecommunications laws. The article noted Mr. Kelly’s recent representation of Madison Dearborn Partners in the $1 billion sale of NextG Communication to Crown Castle. It also highlighted his successful defense of Peerless Network, a growing carrier in Chicago, against patent infringement claims.
