New York Law Journal Quotes Partner Bob Haig on Proposed New York Commercial Division Rule

Partner Bob Haig was quoted in the New York Law Journal on a proposed New York Commercial Division rule that would require attorneys to certify that they have discussed alternative dispute resolution options with clients and disclose whether the client is willing to pursue mediation at some point in the dispute.

Bob, chair of the Commercial Division Advisory Council, told the New York Law Journal that the message we’re getting [from businesses and outside counsel] is that they want more and better mediation than is being supplied.”
