Partner David T. Hickey, and his recent move to join Kelley Drye’s Government Contracts practice, was featured in the Law360 article “Kelley Drye Adds Ex-Barnes & Thornburg Gov't Contracts Pros.” Mr. Hickey represents clients in contract disputes between contractors and with federal agencies, and he drafts and negotiates teaming agreements, compliance agreements, contracts and subcontracts. He also advises federal government contractor clients on a variety of procurement compliance issues, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DOD FAR supplement.
Kelley Drye appealed for many reasons, “We practice as a team and we came to Kelley because it’s a larger public affairs and public policy practice. This is truly a Washington law firm, meaning we have many of the specialists that are important to our clients.” Mr. Hickey added that Kelley Drye’s D.C. office provides additional expertise in the areas of defense and aerospace, national security, international markets and export controls.
