Partner David T. Hickey and senior advisor Joseph Corrigan, and their recent move to join Kelley Drye’s Government Contracts practice, were featured in the Law360 article “Kelley Drye Adds Ex-Barnes & Thornburg Gov't Contracts Pros.” Mr. Hickey represents clients in contract disputes between contractors and with federal agencies, and he drafts and negotiates teaming agreements, compliance agreements, contracts and subcontracts. He also advises federal government contractor clients on a variety of procurement compliance issues, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DOD FAR supplement. Mr. Corrigan helps clients with permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and represents municipalities or companies interested in its civil works projects. His defense industry work centers on military hardware and equipment, federal procurement, policy issues connected with defense depots, and the construction and engineering services markets.
Kelley Drye appealed to the pair for many reasons, as Mr. Corrigan explained, “We practice as a team and we came to Kelley because it’s a larger public affairs and public policy practice. This is truly a Washington law firm, meaning we have many of the specialists that are important to our clients.” Mr. Hickey added that Kelley Drye’s D.C. office provides additional expertise in the areas of defense and aerospace, national security, international markets and export controls.
