Partner Lauri A. Mazzuchetti was interviewed during the Fox News program, The Willis Report, regarding the increased popularity of restaurants restricting children from dining during dinner hours. Ms. Mazzuchetti argued that while these decisions may be unpopular, they are not illegal. She explains that this issue falls under the area of the law that governs public accommodation and that children do not fall under a protected status the way an issue around race or religion would. Furthermore the market, rather than the law, will largely dictate the way this ban is used.
