Partner John L. Wittenborn was a panelist at the American Conference Institute’s 2010 Expert Forum on Environmental Regulation & Enforcement on January 22, 2010. The conference was designed to provide attendees with advice and compliance strategies for emergent environmental issues. Mr. Wittenborn’s panel discussion, “Preparing for Increased Litigation of Natural Resource Damage Claims,” discussed natural resource damages claims (NRD), navigation of the NRD assessment process, analysis of recoverable damages under NRD claims, as well as potential defenses against damage claims.
