On September 21, 2011, partner Gonzalo E. Mon spoke at an Association of Corporate Counsel Luncheon Program in Chicago, IL. Mr. Mon participated on the panel, "Marketing and Advertising Through Social Media: Key Legal Issues and Strategies for In-House Counsel." The session discussed issues that in-house counsel should consider when their company leverages social media as a vehicle for advertising and marketing, including publicizing customer endorsements, running promotions, managing user-generated content and addressing intellectual property and right of publicity concerns.
