Partner Robert E. Crotty addressed the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the Appraisal Institute’s Seminar on Resolutions of Real Estate Valuation Disputes. Mr. Crotty presentation was titled “Lawyers’ Views about Expert Witnesses in Valuation Matters: Desirable Characteristics and Working Relationships.” In his talk, he emphasized the three criteria for a successful presentation of a real estate appraiser’s testimony: Credibility, Preparation and Teamwork.
