Kelley Drye Sponsors Diversity Speaker Series

In the first of Kelley Drye’s Diversity Speaker Series, on June 29, the firm welcomed John E. Page, general counsel of Golden State Foods and president-elect of the National Bar Association. Mr. Page was hosted to lunch by NY Managing Partner, Robert I. Steiner.

Golden State Foods, Corp (GSF), is a privately held $5 billion food processing and distribution company, with over 4,000 employees worldwide. Founded in 1947, it is one of the largest diversified suppliers to the food service industry, serving more than 20,000 restaurants from three continents. The National Bar Association is the nation’s oldest and largest association of African American lawyers and judges.

A client of the firm, John discussed his work and role as corporate counsel and shared thoughts and advice on career development, business development strategies and client-counsel relationships.

John is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He was recently appointed to the Board of Trustees at Tuskegee University.
