# Report on Competitive Issues in Special Access Markets

On January 23, 2009, the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) released a report regarding competition issues in special access markets, which was authored by the National Regulatory Institute. The highly anticipated report’s findings are strikingly similar to conclusions reached in a November 2006 GAO report. The telecommunications practice has prepared a client advisory that reviews the report in detail.
