# CPSC Definition of ​“Children’s Product” Becomes Effective

Further to our post earlier in the week, the Consumer Product Safety Commission’s new final interpretative rule defining ​“children’s product” is published in today’s [Federal Register](http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2010/pdf/2010-25645.pdf), making the new rule effective immediately.
