# Why The ​‘Onionhead’ Verdict May Make Employers Cry

Partner [Barbara Hoey](/Our-People/Barbara-E-Hoey) co-authored the *Law360* article ​“Why The ​‘Onionhead’ Verdict May Make Employers Cry.” The article discusses the recently returned verdict of $5.1 million against employers United Health Programs and its parent company Cost Containment Group finding that CCG’s insistence that its employees follow a practice called ​“Onionhead” amounted to religious discrimination.
