Partner [Wayne D’Angelo](/Our-People/Wayne-J-D-Angelo) co-authored the *Valve Magazine* article ​“The Trump Administration: Litigation Burdens Efforts to Ease Regulatory Burdens.” The article discusses Trump’s effort to repeal the three most significant environmental regulation milestones during the Obama Administration. These three actions were: (1) the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) rule to limit venting, flaring and leakage of natural gas from operations on federal and tribal lands; (2) the BLM’s repeal of rules for hydraulic fracturing on federal and tribal lands; and (3) the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) reconsideration of new source performance standards (NSPS) for methane emissions for the oil and gas sector.
