# The Obama Administration’s First Dive Into Communications Policy Will Be Felt For Years To Come

The article examined the ways in which the Obama Administration has begun to improve and develop the nation’s communications infrastructure and details how new policy initiatives will affect communications in the years to come. The article also discussed the role the American Recover and Reinvestment Act of 2009 plays in Obama’s communication policy, which includes expanding access to broadband services.
