# Sky-High Safety: Drive OSHA to Release Updated Regulations

The article discussed the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) proposed crane and derrick regulations that will affect the ​“assembly and disassembly hazards; safety requirements when working in close proximity to power lines; and operator certification.” The article also covers local regulations, for example in New York City and Miami-Dade County, that address construction hazards, including cranes.
