Scholastic Inc.* decision that monetary damages in a copyright infringement suit are limited to those incurred in the three years preceding the commencement of suit. The *Sohm* decision resolves a disagreement that had emerged within the Second Circuit since the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in *Petrella v. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios Inc*.
