Partner [Gonzalo Mon](/Our-People/Gonzalo-E-Mon) authored the *E-Commerce Law Reports* article ​“Price Advertising.” The article discusses the lessons learned from the a civil penalty of $6.8 million issued against Overstock​.com by a California court for illegally advertising prices on its website. Gonzalo advises companies to pay attention to applicable state pricing laws, particularly when advertising discounts, sales, or other price reductions.
