The article reviews the market for India’s real estate investments including real estate mutual funds (REMFs) and real estate investment trusts (REITs). The article discusses foreign direct investment in India, REMFs and the applicable regulations, advantages and limitations of REMFs and provides an update on Indian governmental regulations of REITs.
