The article examined the ​“ADA Amendment Act of 2008” (ADAAA) which amends and expands the scope of the American with Disabilities Act. It discussed the ADAAA’s changes to the definitions of ​“disabilities,” ​“major life activities” and ​“mitigating measures.” The article also focuses on the impact ADAAA will have on employers and what they can do to comply with obligations under the new law.
