# A Less Costly Phone Call: Insurance Coverage for TCPA Liability

Associate [Genna Steinberg](/Our-People/Genna-S-Steinberg) co-authored the *InsideCounsel* article ​“A Less Costly Phone Call: Insurance Coverage for TCPA Liability.” The article outlines insurance coverage for Telephone Consumer Protection Act liability and why companies should understand the factors that influence coverage determinations, consult with experienced policyholders’ insurance recovery counsel to ensure that their contractual rights are enforced fully, and ensure that recoveries from their insurers are maximized. Genna covered CGL, D&O, and E&O policies and warned that an increasing number of insurance policies explicitly exclude TCPA liability from coverage.
