 Ryan helps companies protect their interests in complex commercial and business disputes including breach of contract, fraud and joint venture contested matters. He has managed all stages of complex civil litigation matters including large discovery investigations and dispositive motion practice. Ryan also defends clients facing consumer class actions for false advertising, promotional pricing, and unfair trade practice. A significant focus of his practice relates to the defense of claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) related to auto-dialed calls, advertising faxes and texts.

Before joining the firm, Ryan gained valuable lessons in motion practice as a judicial intern to Chief Judge John DeGuilio in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana.

Member of the team representing the largest privately held spirits company in the world, defending its claims to the HAVANA CLUB trademark and seeking cancellation of Cuba’s putative registration in the D.C. District Court.
