Katie Rogers advises clients on advertising, privacy, and labeling compliance across a variety of media and at various stages in a product’s lifecycle. Katie brings not only her substantive knowledge of the law, but also an in-depth understanding of the scientific aspects of even the most complex products and services.
Katie handles a sweep of consumer protection issues, including environmental benefit claims, health benefit claims, endorsements and testimonials, and promotions. She reviews the science supporting environmental benefit and health benefit claims, counsels on data gaps, and works with brands to craft advertising claims based on the science. She also reviews promotions—including sweepstakes and contests—and works to ensure that influencer and other endorsement claims meet regulatory requirements.
Katie has represented clients in a broad range of counseling and enforcement matters with the FTC, FDA, CPSC, and NAD.
