# *WRAL* Features Kelley Drye in Article About PFAS

Kelley Drye’s efforts around PFAS were highlighted in a recent *WRAL* article. A spokeswoman for Attorney General Josh Stein confirmed that the North Carolina has an arrangement with Kelley Drye, and describes the work done by Stein’s office on PFAS with the state Department of Environmental Quality, which went to court to enforce air and water pollution rules against Chemours, a chemical company with a major facility near the Bladen-Cumberland county line.

PFAS chemicals are extremely widespread and cannot be removed from drinking water supplies using traditional methods, leading to tens of millions of dollars to be spent in water plant upgrades.
