# *Washingtonian Magazine* Names Alysa Z. Hutnik to ​“Top Lawyers” List

Partner [Alysa Hutnik](/Our-People/Alysa-Z-Hutnik) was recently named as a top Cybersecurity lawyer by the *Washingtonian* in its ​“Top Lawyers” list in its December 2017 issue. In compiling its guide to the capital area’s ​“best legal minds,” the magazine selected 700-plus lawyers across 20 practice areas from the region’s go-to attorneys. The ​“Top Lawyers” list was developed though lawyer surveys and independent research and reporting by the magazine.

Alysa delivers comprehensive expertise in cybersecurity, as well as privacy and advertising law. Her experience ranges from counseling to defending clients in FTC and state attorneys general investigations, competitor disputes at the National Advertising Division of the Better Business Bureaus, consumer class actions and competitor-brought litigation claims. Much of Alysa’s practice is focused in the digital and mobile space in particular, including cloud, mobile payment, calling/texting practices, augmented/virtual reality, and big data-related services.
