# Unconventional Oil & Gas Report Quotes Special Counsel Wayne J. D’Angelo on Colorado Proposal

Special Counsel [Wayne J. D’Angelo](/Our-People/Wayne-J-D-Angelo) was quoted in the *Unconventional Oil & Gas Report* article ​“Proposal would create patchwork of regulations in Colorado.” The article discusses a ballot measure that could give cities, counties, and municipalities the ability to tighten control over local rules for oil and gas development. Mr. D’Angelo explained that Colorado has become an epicenter in the national debate over hydraulic fracturing, and ​“generally speaking, anything that creates additional support for local bans and the potential for a patchwork of regulations in the state is going to be of concern to the oil and gas industry.”
