# The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Notes Partner Robert L. Haig in Controlling Legal Costs Article

In the article, ​“Expert Guidance on Controlling Legal Costs,” *The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel* featured partner Robert L. Haig as Editor-in-Chief of the critically acclaimed four-volume treatise titled *Successful Partnering Between Inside and Outside Counsel*. The authors of this treatise include the General Counsel of more than 80 *Fortune* 500 companies. The article describes the treatise as a ​“critically acclaimed source of expert guidance for selecting and implementing strategies to manage corporate legal costs.” The article identifies ​“certain techniques and methodologies analyzed in the *Successful Partnering* treatise that a corporate law department might implement to control legal costs, while at the same time maximizing the value of legal work for corporate clients.”
