# The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Notes Partner Robert L. Haig Co-Chairs NYCLA Annual Dinner

In an article, ​“NYCLA’s 96th Annual Dinner Honors Roderick A. Palmore and George W. Madison,” *The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel* reported that the December 14, 2010 NYCLA event will celebrate diversity in the legal profession. At the dinner, the NYCLA Diversity Award will be presented to Executive Vice President and General Counsel of General Mills, Inc. Roderick A. Palmore. NYCLA’s William Nelson Cromwell Award will be presented to George W. Madison, General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Treasury and former General Counsel of TIAA-CREF and Comerica, Inc.

Last year more than 1,000 lawyers and judges attended the dinner. The article noted Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Allstate Insurance Company, Michele Coleman Mayes and partner **Robert L. Haig** are co-chairs of the event.
