Partner [Michael A. Adelstein](/Our-People/Michael-A-Adelstein) is quoted in *The Deal Pipeline* article, ​“PE, VC involvement in PIPE market is surging this year,” in regards to the two-fold growth of capital from non-traditional investors including private equity and venture capital sponsors in PIPEs from 2014. ​“PIPEs and similar alternative investment structures, with a shorter investment horizon than classic private equity and venture capital investments, provide a unique opportunity for private equity and venture capital players to get to know a company and its management prior to making a large commitment or an activist investment,” Mr. Adelstein said.
