# The American Lawyer Mentions IP Partner Michael Zinna in Article about IP Boutique and BigLaw Mergers

The article discusses the current trend of big law firms merging with IP boutiques, including Kelley Drye’s hiring of [Michael J. Zinna](/Our-People/Michael-J-Zinna), a founding principle of former IP boutique Ward & Zinna LLC. The mergers are mutually beneficial for several reasons.
