# Practical Law The Journal Interviews Partner Christie Grymes Thompson on Lead Content Testing

Partner Christie Grymes Thompson was interviewed in the GC Agenda section of the June 2011 *Practical Law The Journal* regarding lead content testing requirements of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. Manufacturers now have until December 31, 2011 to certify the lead content of children’s products, certain automobiles, and cycling equipment. However, manufacturers should be aware that the Consumer Product Safety Commission may still deem a product unsafe even if it is not intended for child use.
