# Partner Tom Cohen Discusses Allocation of Broadband Provisions of Economic Stimulus

Partner Tom Cohen was quoted in an *InternetNews​.com* article titled, ​“2C: How to Get Broadband Stimulus Cash,” discussing issues surrounding the allocation of the broadband provisions of the economic stimulus.

In the article, Mr. Cohen notes, ​“Applications should be like business plans” and ​“the funds can cover up to 80 percent of the cost of the build out, the capital expenditure, but the government will not provide funds for running the network, the operational expenditure. Thus, every plan must show how it will obtain and spend money other than the government’s.”
