# Partner Robert L. Haig Featured in New York Law Journal’s Tribute to Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye

In ​“A Tribute to Chief Judge Judith Kaye,” *New York Law Journal* featured a video clip of partner Robert L. Haig on their ​“Video Center.” Mr. Haig is one of three videos posted on the site and is shown thanking the chief judge for her ​“extraordinary vision in leadership in creating the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court,” and for ​“appointing \[him\] co-chair of the commercial courts task force, which has led to some of the most interesting and meaningful work \[he has\] done in \[his\] career.”

The *New York Law Journal* also published Mr. Haig’s essay on the ​“Commercial Courts Task Force” in a special section titled ​“Kaye’s Legacy.” The essay stated the following: ​“Under Chief Judge Kaye’s leadership, the Commercial Division has not only become a model for the entire New York court system, but it has also led an emerging national and international trend toward creation of business courts which use that same model.”
