# Partner Quoted in San Francisco Chronicle

Partner Michael Coursey was quoted in a *San Francisco Chronicle* article about the shrinking domestic garlic industry. Mr. Coursey explained the reason for the decline in domestic garlic is that Chinese shippers have found ways to get around a tariff imposed on garlic that is meant to protect domestic garlic producers. He also explained that stopping the illegal importation of Chinese garlic is a low priority to the U.S. Customs Service.
