# Partner Interviewed by the San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal

Partner Michael Coursey was interviewed by the *San Jose/Silicon Valley Business Journal* in an article about garlic imports from China. Mr. Coursey commented on the domestic garlic industry’s struggle to compete with the Chinese, who are expected to export 160 million pounds of garlic to the U.S. at a much cheaper rate than domestic garlic producers charge. Mr. Coursey discussed the situation and efforts being made to encourage the U.S. Department of Commerce to impose duties and enforce tariffs against Chinese garlic shipments.
