# Partner Featured in ABA Journal

Partner Robert Haig is featured in an article regarding the advent of business courts in the February 2003 issue of the ABA Journal. The article notes that Mr. Haig is the co-chairman of the commercial courts task force created by New York State Chief Judge Judith S. Kaye. Mr. Haig is also featured in an article on business courts in the March 2003 issue of State Government News, which describes him as ​“the driving force behind New York’s efforts to establish specialized business courts.”

Mr. Haig has also been active in efforts to create business courts in many other states and countries. Since 1995, a growing number of states nationwide have adopted a strategy for streamlining complex commercial litigation by adopting specialized business courts, which treat business and technology cases in an efficient and effective manner.
