# Partner David E. Frulla Featured in National Fisherman Magazine’s ​“2008 Yearbook: Newsmakers”

Partner David E. Frulla is featured in the ​“National Fisherman 2008 Yearbook: Newsmakers,” which appears in the April 2008 issue of *National Fisherman* magazine. Mr. Frulla is included for successfully arguing against a Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control-imposed moratorium on horseshoe crab harvesting on behalf of Delaware watermen in 2007. Helping the watermen to win a limited horseshoe crab season, the Sussex County Superior Court decision opened a harvest of 100,000 male crabs starting in June after shorebirds that feed on crab eggs had departed. According to Frulla, there was ​“no rational reason for the state to step up existing conservation measures over and above the delayed male-only harvest.”
