# Partner Becca Wahlquist Speaks to *Law360* About Auto-Dialer Ruling

Partner [Becca Wahlquist](/Our-People/Becca-J-Wahlquist) was quoted in the *Law360* article ​“Autodialer Ruling Will Reduce TCPA Flood In 11th Circ.” The article discusses the Eleventh Circuit’s ruling in *Melanie Glasser v. Hilton Grand Vacations Company* that narrowed the Telephone Consumer Protection Act’s (TCPA) definition of an ​“auto-dialer.”

The opinion, Becca noted, is the first to ​“really dig into the grammar, structure and legislative history of the term and produce a detailed analysis of what it meant in the past and what it now means, and to walk back where the expansion has happened to bring it back to the TCPA’s legislative intent.”
