# Partner Andrea L. Calvaruso Discusses Music File-sharing and Copyrights in Bloomberg Interview

In a *Bloomberg* podcast interview, partner Andrea L. Calvaruso discussed downloading digital music files with peer-to-peer file-sharing networks in violation of the U.S. Copyright Act. Ms. Calvaruso explained the ​“innocent infringement” defense and traced the music recording industry’s response to illegal downloading. She also analyzed the case, *Maverick Recordings v. Whitney Harper* and its implications for the digital age.
