# New York Law Journal Notes Kelley Drye’s Representation of Creditor’s Committee in Jennifer Convertibles Bankruptcy

*The New York Law Journal* article, ​“Slowdown in Filings Fuels Competition for Bankruptcy Case,” reported that an ​“enormous turnout” of law firms are competing to work for creditors’ committees. With the Jennifer Convertibles bankruptcy, at the meeting to pick counsel for the creditors committee, ​“lawyers from at least 14 firms showed up, a source said, including Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; Cooley; and Lowenstein Sandler. The committee picked Kelley Drye & Warren after interviewing five firms ...” A creditors committee member commented on how well the attorneys knew the case, and how they invested significant time and energy in studying it.
