# New York Law Journal Covers Kelley Drye Victory for Polo

The *New York Law Journal* reported on Kelley Drye’s recent appellate victory on behalf of Polo Ralph Lauren in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. The article, entitled ​“Ralph Lauren Scores Win Over Use of Polo Trademark,” describes the trademark dispute between PRL USA Holdings, Inc. and United States Polo Association, Inc. The Second Circuit decision upheld a 2012 trial court ruling that enjoined USPA from using its polo player mark or the word ​“POLO” on fragrances and cosmetics, thus protecting Ralph Lauren’s ​“POLO” trademark.

Kelley Drye argued the appeal for Polo Ralph Lauren before the 2nd Circuit panel.
