Kirk Regarding Kelley Drye & Warren Scholarship July 11, 2008 The *New York Law Digest*, a publication of the New York State Bar Association, published an article on Columbia Law School student, John B. Quigley, who received the Kelley Drye & Warren LLP Scholarship administered by The New York Bar Foundation. The article said, ​“James J. Kirk, managing partner at Kelley Drye stated, ​‘We are proud to recognize Mr. Quigley as the Kelley Drye & Warren LLP Scholar for academic year 2008-2009 at Columbia Law School. He has earned this award through his scholarly accomplishments, demonstrated commitment to the law, and outstanding performance in his extracurricular activities.’ ” Mr. Quigley grew up in Queens, New York, graduated from Regis High School, and received his B.A. in political science, *cum laude*, from Amherst College. The $10,000 scholarship is available to second-year law students at Columbia who have a grade point average of B or higher and intend to practice law in New York. Columbia Law School selects the recipient.
