# New Jersey Law Journal Quotes Partner John E. Villafranco on Helmet Maker Suit

Partner **John E. Villafranco** was quoted in the *New Jersey Law Journal* article ​“Concussion-Reduction Boasts by NFL Helmet Maker Said To Mislead.” The article discusses helmet maker Riddell and a putative class action lawsuit challenging the company’s advertising claims regarding the risk of concussion when using its Revolution helmet.

 Mr. Villafranco, who represents Riddell, said that the claim in question has not been used since April 2011 and that, ​“it’s going to limit the class significantly, putting aside any discussion of the merits.”
