# Metropolitan Corporate Counsel Interviews Partner Mark L. Austrian About E-Discovery Costs

Partner Mark L. Austrian participated in a *Metropolitan Corporate Counsel* interview titled ​“Do Your Bit To Control Runaway E-Discovery Costs.” Mr. Austrian described the impact of e-discovery on litigation, as well as gave advice to attorneys starting out in an e-discovery case. Also, Mr. Austrian shared his insights into the issue of controlling e-discovery legal costs. The interview focused on the approach set forth in the Final Report of the Joint Project of the American College of Trial Lawyers (ACTL) and the Institute for the Advancement of the American Legal System (IAALS) and in the Pilot Project Rules of the IAALS.
