# Legal Era Notes New Partner and Promotions to Special Counsel

*Legal Era* reported that **Deepak Nambiar** has been elected to partner and works in the India practice group in the New York office. The publication also noted that Kelley Drye promoted two attorneys from associate to special counsel: in New York, and **Kristin S. Elliott** in the Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group.
