*Law360* reported that partner [**Barbara E. Hoey**](/Our-People/Barbara-Hoey) has returned to Kelley Drye to chair the firm’s Labor and Employment practice. Ms. Hoey states that she missed being part of a firm where there is easy access to experts in many different practice areas and is excited to be back to where her career started.

The article quoted [**James J. Kirk**](/Our-People/James-J-Kirk), managing partner of Kelley Drye, and [**Robert I. Steiner**](/Our-People/Robert-I-Steiner), managing partner of the New York office, noting how the firm will benefit from Ms. Hoey’s experience and being a large part of the expansion of its labor practice to all firm offices.

Ms. Hoey counsels management in all areas of labor and employment law and defends employers in single plaintiff and class action litigation, winning more than a dozen jury and bench trials involving claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, New York state’s Whistleblower Law and other state and federal laws.
