Partner [William M. Guerry Jr.](https://www.kelleydrye.com/Our-People/William-M-Guerry-Jr) will co-chair the environmental law practice group along with Jackson Gilmour co-founder [William J. Jackson](https://www.kelleydrye.com/Our-People/William-J-Jackson). Mr. Guerry said, ​“We have been looking to expand and complement our long-standing environmental regulatory practice in D.C. as well as overlapping litigation practices, and \[Jackson Gilmour\] were an ideal fit, given their national presence and expertise in environmental litigation dealing with contaminated properties.” Mr. Jackson said of the merger, ​“I was skeptical at first when conversations started, but when I learned more about the practice and the lawyers, it became obvious this was a terrific opportunity.” The lawyers joining Kelley Drye in Houston include firm founders Mr. Jackson and [John D.S.
