Special counsel [Grace Kim](/Our-People/Grace-Kim) was quoted in the *Law360* article ​“US Quadruples Duties On Korean Wire Rod, Fixing Error.” The Department of Commerce raised anti-dumping duties on carbon and allow steel wire rod from Korea almost four times the preliminary rate announced in October after petitioners brought it to their attention that they had made an error. ​“In this case, the Commerce Department inadvertently failed to convert an import duty cost amount that was denominated in Korean won to U.S. dollars when it granted Posco a duty drawback adjustment to U.S. price, which significantly understated Posco’s preliminary dumping margin,” Grace noted. ​“Petitioners are very pleased that the department agreed with our ministerial error allegation and revised the dumping margin for Posco to more correctly reflect the company’s level of dumping in the U.S. market.”
