Partner [Paul Rosenthal](/Our-People/Paul-C-Rosenthal) was quoted in the *Law360* article ​“ITA Launches Investigation Into Wire Rods From 10 Countries.” An anti-dumping investigation was opened by the U.S. International Trade Administration into companies from Belarus, Italy, Korea, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and the U.K. U.S. producers complain that the foreign companies in these countries are exporting carbon and alloy steel wire rod at prices below production costs. The steel industry had been happy about a final decision made by the ITA imposing duties of carbon and alloy steel wire rod, but that didn’t last long. ​“They thought there were going to be happier days after that. Unfortunately \[imports from the 10 nations in this case\] have basically taken up all of the Chinese market share and then some, and have therefore continued to injure the domestic producers,” Paul noted. Paul represents Gerdau Ameristeel, Keystone Consolidated Industries and Charter Steel.
