Rockwood.” The article discusses how specialty chemicals company Albemarle Corp. will acquire fellow chemical firm Rockwood Holdings Inc. for $6.2 billion in cash and stock. The article states that ​“the merger agreement will create one of the world’s largest specialty chemicals companies, which will grow through lithium-based energy storage products, like cellphone and car batteries, catalysts, bromine applications and surface treatment products.” *Law360* notes that Kelley Drye is representing Albemarle in this matter.
